Barbara “Barb” (Moore) Hoffmeister

Barbara “Barb” (Moore) Hoffmeister, 59, of Albion passed away peacefully March 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 16, 1961 in S. Charleston, WV. The daughter of Geneva (Wooten) Moore and the late Arnold Moore. Barb was a graduate of Albion High School, class of 1979 and Niagara Community College with her Associate degree in Nursing.  She was a former employee of Orchard Manor Nursing Home. Barb loved traveling and all animals, and will be remembered for her caring and loving heart. Barb received the greatest joy spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren.

 She is survived by her mother, Geneva Moore; love of her life, Todd Dawley; children: Gregory Moore, Emily Hoffmeister, Brandon (Stephanie Fisher) Hoffmeister, Dawn (David) Kerr, Casey (Sonjia) Dawley and Nicole (Richard) Sarsfield; and 10 grandchildren.

 The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave., Albion on Thu., March 11, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Barb’s funeral service will follow calling hours at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Please note the Funeral Home and will be operating at 50% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
