Bambi L. Fearby

Bambi FearbyBambi L. Fearby, 61, of the Town of Shelby, entered into rest on Fri., March 6, 2020 at her home. She was born Feb. 21, 1959 in Medina, a daughter to Jerry R. (Sipple) Boyer and the late John R. Boyer.

She graduated from Medina High School in the class of 1977. She married D. Thomas Fearby on June 19, 1982. Bambi worked for the Orleans County Department of Social Services for many years, after which she was employed as secretary to Orleans County Court Judge, Hon. James P. Punch. Bambi was a talented seamstress in her spare time, and she had a passion for quilting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who were very dear to her.

She is survived by her mother, Jerry R. Boyer; her son, Matthew J. Fearby; her daughter, Caitlin (Nic) Elliott; stepson, Donald T. Fearby; beloved grandchildren, Keara L. and Shane M. Fearby, Bailey, Benjamin and Thomas Elliott, and Brandi (Nate) Wilson; sister, Melinda S. Murray; brother, Christopher M. Boyer; and niece, Kyrstin Sponaugle.

She was predeceased by her husband, D. Thomas Fearby, in 2008; and by her father, John Boyer, in 2017.

Calling hours will be held on Thu., March 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will be held on Fri., March 13 at 2 p.m. Pastor Erik Olsen will officiate. Burial will be in Boxwood Cemetery.
