Anna M. (Siragusa) Musto

Anna M. (Siragusa) Musto, 71, of Schenectady passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022. Born in Watertown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Benny Siragusa and Catherine McMillian Siragusa. She was happily married to Richard “Dick” Musto for 49 years.

After graduating high school, Anna would then attend SUNY Canton where she received her Associates Degree in Computer Science. She then went to work as an accountant for Xerox Co. where she would meet her future husband on the day they both started working.

Anna was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Schenectady and a founding member of the “Our Lady of Joy” Prayer Group in Watertown. She enjoyed gardening, homeschooling her sons, and hosting Sunday dinners where her grandchildren were always excited for Grammie’s homemade sauce. Her family was the center of her life and she cherished the time spent with them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dick, her sons; Matthew, Nathan (Jesse Hart), and Jordan, her grandchildren; Amelia, Lucy, and Alexander Musto, her brothers; Michael Siragusa and Patrick (Maureen) Siragusa, Lynne Siragusa (sister-in-law), many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Benny and Catherine, her sister, Frances (Gerald) Barry, her brother Benjamin Siragusa, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Marion Musto, and her granddaughter, Madeline “Maddie” Musto.

Calling hours will be held on Fri., May 20 from 4-7 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Tpk., Guilderland, NY 12084. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Sat., May 21 at 10 am at Saint Madeleine Sophie in Guilderland. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland.
