Anita J. Piedimonte

Anita J. Piedimonte, 90, of Holley, passed away at her home on March 22, 2020. She was born Feb. 17, 1930 in Elizabeth City, N.J., a daughter of the late Dominic and Jean (Farone) D’Andrea.

Anita was a member of St. Mary’s Church, S.L.I.M., Holley Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and Murray-Holley Historical Society, and she volunteered for many years at St. Rocco’s Festival.

She was predeceased by her husband, James “JP” Piedimonte; brothers, Frank, John, Alfred and Dominic; sisters, Angelina D’Andrea, Elvira Stanley, Rosemary Carr and Louise Falkenbury.

Anita is survived by her sons, Dennis Piedimonte, Anthony (Lorraine) Piedimonte and Kevin (Anne) Piedimonte; daughter-in-law, Cindy Piedimonte; grandchildren, Jaime (Scott) Piedimonte-Bennett, Jeana (Patrick) Hayes, Jessica, Katie, Eric (Brianne) Piedimonte, Matthew (Meaghan), Michael and Nicholas; proud Nana to six great-granddaughters; brothers, Louis (Catherine), Faust (Judy), Robert (Teresa) and Joseph (Mary Ellen); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anita’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary R.C. Church on Tue., Sept. 15 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 13 S. Main St., Holley NY 14470; or to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion NY 14411.
