Anita J. (D’Andrea) Piedimonte

Anita J. Piedimonte, 90, of Holley, passed away at her home March 22, 2020. She was born Feb. 17, 1930 in Elizabeth City, N.J., a daughter of the late Dominic and Jean (Farone) D’Andrea. Anita was a member of St. Mary’s Church, S.L.I.M., the Holley Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and the Murray-Holley Historical Society, and she volunteered for many years at St. Rocco’s Festival.

She was predeceased by her husband, James “JP” Piedimonte; brothers, Frank, John, Alfred and Dominic; and sisters, Angelina D’Andrea, Elvira Stanley, Rosemary Carr and Louise Falkenbury.

Anita is survived by her sons, Dennis Piedimonte, Anthony (Lorraine) Piedimonte and Kevin (Anne) Piedimonte; daughter-in-law, Cindy Piedimonte; grandchildren, Jaime (Scott) Piedimonte-Bennett, Jeana (Patrick) Hayes, Jessica, Katie, Eric (Brianne) Piedimonte, Matthew (Meaghan), Michael and Nicholas; six great-granddaughters, to whom she was a proud Nana; brothers, Louis (Catherine), Faust (Judy), Robert (Teresa) and Joseph (Mary Ellen); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to health concerns, Anita’s memorial Mass at St. Mary’s Church will be announced at a later date. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
