To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

A Time to be Born: Angela Antoinette English was born on Aug. 15, 1983 in Highland Hospital, Rochester, NY to Rev. Eddie English and Mrs. Rose (Washington) English.

A Time to Love: Angela was an amazing mom to two children. Omar Christopher Peterson was born on Nov. 18, 2003. He was joined by his sister Olivia Rose Onesty Peterson on Dec. 26, 2008.

A Time to Worship: Angela started her walk with Christ at an early age at Royal Church of God in Christ pastored by her late maternal grandfather, Pastor William Washington. She was elevated to a Missionary at the Lord’s House under the leadership of her father and Pastor, Superintendent Eddie English. Angela served as Praise Leader, Pastor’s Aide, Sound System Technician, Lyrical Dancer, and Toys for Tots Coordinator.

A Time of Employment: Angela’s work history consisted of employment at RIT Conference Center, Orleans County Nursing Home, Clover Hill Nursing Home, Verizon, Claims Recovery Financial Services (CRFS), Rochester Chamber of Commerce, and The Grande Nursing Home-Batavia.

A Time to Laugh: The joy and fulfillment of Angela’s life was her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could bring a smile to your face. She left us with many memories that when we think of them they will turn our mourning into joy.

A Time of Gratitude: A special “thank you” of Love to M.D. Eugene Patrick Toy, and the entire medical team for the love and special care given to Angela during her season of transformation. Another special thank you to Pastors Align for Community Transformation (PACT).

A Time to Die: On Mon., Oct. 19, 2020 at 9:50 a.m., the trumpet sounded for Angela Antoinette English, with a voice saying you have fought a good fight, you have kept the faith, and you have finished your course. Come HOME and take your rest.
Angela was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Tommy D. English and Martha Mae English; maternal grandfather, Pastor William Washington.

A Time to be Remembered: Angela is survived by her two children, Omar and Olivia Peterson; her parents, Pastor Eddie and Rose English; two brothers, Eddie (Tiffany) English II, and Christopher English, and maternal grandmother Rosa B. Washington. Angela also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God, 12111 Ridge Rd., Medina, NY 14103 on Sat., Oct. 24, 9-11 a.m. where her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Social distancing and face masks will be required. Burial will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Lord’s House, P.O. Box 27, Waterport, NY 14571. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc.
