She was a lifelong member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church and a dedicated member of the True Blue Club, putting on countless dinners and events. Throughout her life, she used her nursing skills to care for many sick friends and family members. She was a very involved and active grandmother who was famous for her homemade pizza and popcorn.

Alice obtained her pilot’s license at the age of 47 and was known locally as the “Flying Grandmother.” She and her husband, Carson, flew together often and were co-pilots on many adventures. They both loved to travel and explore different areas of the world. In later years, they spent winters in their Titusville, Fla. home.
