ALBION – Adana Zambito (Knight), 44, of Albion passed away peacefully at Strong Memorial Hospital on May 26, 2022. She was born November 18, 1977 in Brockport, NY. She died of rare complications from COVID.

Adana was a sweet soul and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sophia and Lily Zambito; her sister Rebekah (husband Andrew) Papke, their daughter, Kitty; her brother, Jeremiah (significant other Jen Viza) Knight, their girls, Ashley Hapeman, Maleah, Julia and McKinley Knight; her mom, Kim Martillotta-Muscarella and her dad Neal Muscarella; also, her birth father, Dondel Knight and half-sister, Michelle Thomas.

“When I die, remember that what you know of me is with you always. What is buried is only the shell of what was. Do not regret the shell, but remember the woman. Remember the mother.”

A celebration of life for Adana will be held on June 25th from 1 to 4 p.m. at 20 South Main St. Albion, NY 14411 (Marti’s on Main).

Adana’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion, NY.
