Adam F. Sheelar, Jr.

Adam F. Sheelar, Jr., 76 of Batavia, formerly of Medina, entered into rest at Strong Memorial Hospital on Tue., Feb. 2, 2021.

Born Sept. 17, 1944 in Medina, he was a son of the late Adam F. and Verna (Leach) Sheelar, Sr. Adam worked at Kodak in Rochester as a film inspector, where he retired from after many years. He enjoyed watching Nascar, horse racing and playing cards. Above all, Adam enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Shirley M. Sheelar; daughter, Bernadine (Roger) Harden; son, Scott (Tina) Sheelar; step-daughter, Michelle (Robert) Grazioplene; grandchildren: Jensen and Trevor Harden, Leah Sheelar, Alex and Lyndsey Grazioplene; great-grandson, Kingsley Harden; siblings: Jean (David) Wetherbee, Chuck (Michele) Sheelar, Mary (late Donald) Stirk and Judy Sheelar; also many nieces and nephews.

Per Adam’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Share memories and condolences at www.cooperfuneralhome.com
