Edward H. “Corky” Harling

Edward H. “Corky” Harling, 73, of Clarendon died Dec. 7, 2021 in Unity Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born Nov. 5, 1948 in Medina and was a life-long resident of this area.

Corky had worked for Rochester Products and Duryea Ford prior to opening up his own repair shop, Harling Auto Repair in Clarendon.  He enjoyed going to the casino and playing the slot machines, building custom trucks and especially travelling to Aruba where he could just nap on the beach with his toes in the sand.  Mr. Harling was predeceased by two sisters: Carol Skellon and Frances Herring.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Juanita; children: Gregory (Rachel) Harling of NC, John (Penny) Best of Jamestown, Kris Moore of Clarendon; grandchildren: Thomas, Brandi, Bradley, Joel, Dania, Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Noah, Joseph, Hudson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours and his services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Memorials may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.  Corky’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Holley.
