Corporal Scott Clifford Allen

American flagALBION – Corporal Scott Clifford Allen, 52, passed away suddenly at his home on Dec. 28, 2020. Scott was born March 9, 1968 in Albion to the late Stuart and Sandra (Shepard) Allen.

Scott served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1987-1991 during the Persian Gulf War. He loved watching street racing, the Boston Bruins and the New York Jets. Going camping at Lakeside State Park was something he really enjoyed doing. His children were his whole world and he always loved everyone with a big heart.

Scott is survived by his fiancé, the love of his life, Dawn Sitzer; children: Hylari Allen, Savannah (Mike) Laine, Trinity Allen, Emilie Sitzer, Lucian Allen, Scott Clifford Allen II; sister, Kimberly (Jim) Mikolajczyk, close friend and mother of Savannah and Trinity: Pamela Allen, mother and father-in-law, Douglas and Sandra Sitzer; niece, Amanda (Kyle) Neumann; nephews: Joseph (Cassie) Kabasta, Douglas Sitzer III, Brayden Sitzer and other extended family.

Scott’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, NY 14411 on Fri., Jan. 1, 2021 from 1-3 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. (Please come dressed comfortably). His service will be held privately with interment with military honors at Transit Cemetery. To view his private service please click here.
