Marcia R. Palmer
Marcia R. Palmer, 73, of Albion, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness on Sept. 17, 2019. She was born May 22, 1946 in Albion to the late Irving and Annabelle (Johnson) Gaines.
Marcia worked for GM for 31 years before retiring on the same day as her husband. In her spare time, she loved to crochet. Marcia was a beautiful woman inside and out to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Philip, in 1988; and by her infant son, Kevin, in 1966.
Marcia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Howard, whom she married on May 1, 1965; her daughter, Michele (Donald) Powley; siblings, Fred (Judy) Gaines, Judy Sweet, and Richard (Jodi) Gaines; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sat., Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion NY 14411, where her funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Interment will take place in Mt. Albion Cemetery.

Dorothy P. Hollis
Dorothy P. Hollis, 98, of Batavia, passed away Mon., Sept. 16, 2019 at The Villages of Orleans Health and Rehabilitation Center in Albion.
Dorothy was born Jan. 24, 1921 in Lebanon, Pa., a daughter of the late Marvin and Martha (Dillinger) Silvis. She was a charter member of Living Waters Church in LeRoy. She was the wife of the late Carl M. Hollis, who died on Jan. 14, 2004.
She is survived by a son, Gordon (Betty) Hollis of Marysville Wash.; four daughters, Karen (Daniel) Schultz of Lyndonville, Charlene Frazer of Houston, Texas, Kathie Hollis of Cape Coral, Fla., and Jeanette (Dennis) Ryder of Spencerport; a daughter-in-law, Karrie Hollis of Ft. Collins, Colo.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Roger Hollis; her brothers, Kenneth Silvis and Howard Silvis; and her sisters, Elizabeth Beatty, Mabel Allen and Doris Henneman.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 20 at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia, where services for Mrs. Hollis will take place at 11 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 21. The Rev. Jack Hempfling will officiate.

Walter C. Hird
Walter C. Hird, 90, of Medina, passed away on Sept. 16, 2019 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport.
Born Oct. 4, 1928 in Niagara Falls, N.Y., he was the only child of Walter F. and Grace M. (Orton) Hird. Shortly after graduating from North Tonawanda High School, Walter went to work for Walker-Gordon Dairy Farms in Plainsboro, N.J., where his passion for farming began. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. He served two years in the Philippines and two years on U.S. soil. After returning from the military, Walter purchased his own dairy farm in Medina in April of 1960, and he farmed there for over 50 years. On Feb. 11, 1961, he married Sharon Lynn Taylor of North Tonawanda. In later years, he was an active member of Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion, where he held several offices, including Post Commander.
Walter is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sharon Hird; son, Walter A. Hird; daughter, Andrea M. Walton; granddaughter, Abby Lynn Munger; sister in-law, Valerie Carr; former son in-law, Jeffrey P. Munger, who was actively involved in the family; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two cousins who were more like siblings, Warren Easton and Margaret Brainard.
Interment will be privately held in Boxwood Cemetery, with full military honors accorded by members of Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion and Lincoln Post #1483 VFW.

George A. Fleshman
George A. “Mountain Man” Fleshman, 71, of Albion and Terry, W.Va., passed away suddenly Sept. 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. George was loved by many family members, friends, and his Eastman Kodak buddies.
George served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was well known for his love of river rafting, ice fishing, car shows and the fine arts; he was a feature artist for the Medina Journal-Register. He worked for Kodak for many years as Quality Control Manager, retiring in 2004.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lorenza and Virgie (Meadows) Fleshman; and by his four brothers.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years, Rebecca; his daughter, Kerrie Lynn Aguilar; his favorite son-in-law, Robert “Mexican Man” Aguilar; his siblings, Ralph (Betty) Crowe of Kendall, Edith (late Howard) Taylor of Indiana, William (Debbie) Fleshman of Indiana, and Charlie (Norma) Fleshman of Indiana; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. George was proud of his family, especially his three granddaughters, Sara, Anna and Keely.
The family will receive friends on Fri., Sept. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, where his Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m.

Ida Mae Truax
Ida Mae “Cindy” Truax, 85, of Royalton, passed away on Sept. 15, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She was born Jan. 8, 1934 in Buffalo to the late Leonard and Mildred (Campbell) Miller.
Cindy was a member of Royalton United Methodist Church, a past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, a past President of the Royalton Historical Society, and a member of the Hartland Historical Society.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in 2008 by her husband, Robert Truax, whom she married Aug. 18, 1956; and by her sister, Lenette (Larry) Moore.
Cindy is survived by her children, Lance (Kathy) Truax, Wayne (Patricia) Truax and Lisa (Jim) Murphy; grandchildren, Shane (Heather) Truax, Tara (Daniel) Baker, Jennifer Murphy, Jay Murphy, Joel Murphy, Theresa (Erik) Gunio, Christopher Baker and Kimberly Truax; great-grandchildren, Madysen, Brooke, Nellie, Nathaniel, Max and Alex; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Hamminga and Ann Truax; brother-in-law, Richard Truax; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sun., Sept. 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport NY 14067, where her funeral service will be held on Mon., Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery.

Donald W. Sparks
Donald W. Sparks, 88, of Clarendon, passed away on Mon., Sept. 16, 2019 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Donald was born May 16, 1931 in Clarendon, a son of the late Wallace and Rose (Hovey) Sparks.
A veteran, Donald served with the United States Navy. He was a heavy equipment operator for Cold Springs Construction and a member of the American Legion, and he loved all animals.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sparks of Clarendon; children, Donald M. (Elizabeth) Sparks of Clarendon, George Sparks of Clarendon and Sandra (Peter Dreher) Sparks of Spencerport; a granddaughter, Ashley (Patrick Mancine) Sparks of Buffalo; a great-grandson, Wyatt Sparks Mancine; a sister, Carol Morgott of Clarendon; and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was a brother of the late Dorothy Ferguson, Gilbert Sparks and Bruce Sparks.
Calling hours are Sun., Sept. 22 from 12 to 3 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake Ave., Bergen, where services will be held following calling hours at 3 p.m.

Gerald P. Wahl
Gerald P. Wahl, 83, died peacefully Sept. 14, 2019 while a resident at LeRoy Village Green, and is now in the presence of the Lord.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 and retired after 38 years with American Airlines in Rochester, N.Y. He was also very active in the community, having served on the Kendall Central School Board, the Morton Fire Department and the Kendall Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Wahl was predeceased by a great-grandson, Samuel Tomasino.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Maxine (Hall) Wahl; his daughters, Melodee Wahl of LeRoy, Sherry (Ronald) Tomasino of Kendall, and Stephanie (Robert) Rudman of West Allis, Wis.; grandchildren, Jacob (Cheryl) Tucker of Tucson, Ariz., Thomas Tomasino of Marathon, Fla., Joseph (Heather) Tomasino of Kendall, Katherine (Stephen) Christner of Batavia, Stephen (Erin) Rudman of Lancaster, Pa., and Shawn (Emily) Wahl of Jacksonville, N.C.; his sister, Joan (Norman) Ireland of Albion; as well as six great-grandchildren and three nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tue., Sept. 17 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 State Rt. 31, Holley, where his funeral service will be held following visitation at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin.

Andrew D. Moyer
Andrew D. Moyer, 82, of Kendall, died Sept. 14, 2019 in Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center following a short illness. He was born March 30, 1937 in Troxeville, Pa. to Clarence (Sr.) and Maude (Thomas) Moyer, and he lived in this area since 1955.
Andrew was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a person who could fix anything and always enjoyed a good practical joke. Above all, Andrew demonstrated to all who knew him that family was number one!
Mr. Moyer was predeceased by his parents, five brothers, four sisters and a son, James.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wilda Fay Moyer; his children, Theresa (Joe) DeRose of Albion, Mike (Lorna) Moyer of Kent, Allan (Karen) Moyer of Holley, and Jeff (Joanne Giles) Moyer of Kendall; his brother, Clarence “Junior” Moyer of Murray; sisters, Pauline Reich and Fay DeClerk, both of Albion; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Tyler L. Ward

He attended Albion Central School District. Tyler worked as a carpet and flooring installer for Anderson Carpet & Flooring in Brockport. He was a talented artist who loved to draw. Tyler was a history buff and, in his spare time, he loved listening to music, especially The Doors and Nirvana.
He is survived by his parents, John Borrero and Tanya Ward; stepmothers, Teauna Calkins and Kelly O’Dell; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mary Borrero; maternal grandfather, Joseph Ward; siblings, Aries Marie McMurray, Richard Lowe, Mia Ward, Devin, Brendon, Julian, Braiden and Isabella Borrero; special friends, Joey and David Richardson; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Carol Ward; and infant sisters, Jasmine Lowe and Destiny Ward.
Visitation will be held on Tue., Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. There will be no formal funeral service. Interment will be in Otter Creek Cemetery, Gaines.

Gerald Lewis Williams
Gerald Lewis “Jerry” Williams, of Middleport, passed away peacefully Sept. 7, 2019 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a brief illness. He was born June 25, 1943.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Jaszko) Williams; daughter, Evon Williams of Naples, N.Y.; son, Jason (Amanda) Williams of Middleport; six grandchildren, Jennifer Navarra, Nick Navarra of Rochester, N.Y., Matthew Francisco of Naples, N.Y., Gary (Taylor) Williams, Stephen (Matilda) Williams, USMC, stationed in California, and Sam Williams of Albion; and two brothers, Rich Williams of Clarendon and Gary Lincoln of Houston, Texas.
There will be no calling hours. Jerry donated his body to science. There will be a memorial in his honor at the family’s discretion.

Robert Chase
Robert Chase, 67, of Middleport, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 12, 2019 under the care of Niagara Hospice. He was born Feb. 16, 1952 to the late Russell and Antonia (Fidanza) Chase.
Robert was a graduate of Roy-Hart High School in 1970 and served our country in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1975. He was employed by Harrison Radiator/Delphi before retiring in 2006. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and playing poker at the hunting camp. Robert also liked the Buffalo Bills and bonfires, where many a stimulating and intelligent conversation took place (LOL).
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Mahnke.
Robert is survived by his brother, Russell (Tammy) Chase Jr.; his lifelong companion, Sandra Balschmiter; children, Audra (Vernon) Jett, Robert (Danielle) Chase Jr., Samuel Chase, Jeffrey (Ashly) Balschmiter, Bridgette (Samuel) Henderson, and Kimberly McCanty; six grandchildren, Mikhayla and Maggie Jett, Emmie Chase, Michael Krawczyk, Hudson and Brynlee Balschmiter; mother-in-law, Thelma Stawicki; brother-in-law, Wayne Mahnke; several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts; a very special “brother and sister-in-law,” Bob and Ann Riggle; and six men with whom Robert had the pleasure of sharing friendships and a hunting cabin for over 34 years, John Newton, Fred “Fritz” Peters, Randy Bittinger, Pete Levick, Mike “Hoss” Reale and James Lepkoske.

Carol Culmo
Carol Culmo, 83, of Hellertown, Pa. and formerly of Waterport, went to be with the Lord on Sat., Sept. 7, 2019.
Born on Nov. 26, 1935 in Syracuse, she was the daughter of Gordon and Helen (Camic) Hoffman. She graduated from Lyndonville High School and continued her education at Bryant & Stratton School of Business. She married Vincent James Culmo in 1957, and together they raised two children. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and caring for others. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and swimming. She served in many volunteer capacities within her community, including the Florida School for the Blind in Ocala, Fla. and the Lions Club of Belleview, Fla.
She is predeceased by her husband, Vincent; her parents, Gordon and Helen Hoffman; and her sister, Virginia (Hoffman) Satterlee.
She is survived by her son, Steven (Charlene née Strickland) Culmo of Lyndonville; daughter, Pamela (Keith Hill) Plummer of Hellertown; grandchildren, Jillian (Plummer) Mitchel and Ethan Stavely of Orlando, Fla., Jon Terp of Houston, Texas, Thomas Culmo of Lyndonville, Tara Jack and Jack Paulus of Hackettstown, N.J., Andrew (Isabella, Layla and Harper) Bresett of Lyndonville, and Alexandra Bresett of Lyndonville; brothers, Richard (Elizabeth) Hoffman of Lakeside, N.Y., Roy (Debbie) Hoffman of Kenyonville, Lee (Cheryl) Hoffman of Alabama, and Paul (Candy) Hoffman of Homosassa, Fla.; and countless nieces and nephews throughout the United States.

Donna J. Warney
Donna J. Warney, 67, of Rochester and Holley, died Sept. 10, 2019 at Unity Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 8, 1951 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Ernest and Shirley Brock, and she lived in this area all of her life.
Donna was an avid Buffalo Bills fan who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her sister, Cheryl Brock; and granddaughter, Shyann.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; children, Dawn Velasquez, John Turoski and Betsy Brock; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brothers, Mike Witte and Steve Witte; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Emily June Dresser
Emily June Dresser, 93, of Medina, entered into rest on Tue., Sept. 10, 2019 at Medina Memorial Hospital.
Born June 8, 1926 in Batavia, Mrs. Dresser was the daughter of the late Irving and Marian (Gubb) Zipfel. She was a graduate of Elba High School, class of 1944. Before marriage, she worked as a secretary for Sealtest Ice Cream in Batavia. On Nov. 29, 1952, she married John Q. Dresser III. Having grown up working on her family farm, she found it a natural fit becoming a hardworking farm wife, homemaker and mother. Mrs. Dresser was a longtime and active member of Millville United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest and was also a member of the Orleans County Farm Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Extension.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John Dresser; two sons, James (Paula) Dresser and Daniel T. (Nancy) Dresser Sr.; son-in-law, Paul Bacon; six grandchildren, Cynthia (James) Brinkerhoff, Adam (Heather) Dresser, Sara (Benjamin) Flansburg, Kaitlyn (Corey) Miller, Daniel T. (Nicole) Dresser Jr. and Dorothy (Matthew) Slegle; 10 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Henry Dresser, Molly June and Landon Flansburg, Natalie and Lane Miller, Thomas and Caroline Dresser, and Brooke and Addison Slegle; sister-in-law, Sue Zipfel; also several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bacon; granddaughter, Emily Bacon; and brother, James (late Dorothy) Zipfel.
Calling hours will be held on Sat., Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Millville United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest, 12373 Maple Ridge Road, Medina, where her funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Interment will be in Millville Cemetery.

Dixie L. Scouten
Dixie L. Scouten, of Barre, peacefully passed away at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Batavia on Sept. 7, 2019 at age 70.
Born on Oct. 29, 1948, she graduated from Hilton High School, class of 1966. She lived her life as a caregiver and made an impact on many lives, beginning with raising a large family, being an aide, and then becoming a Registered Nurse at Medina Memorial Hospital for many years. Her talents were endless, as she mastered quilting, sewing, gardening, canning, painting, crafting, and anything she put her mind to.
Dixie was predeceased by her granddaughter, Elaina Dixie Webb.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Charles Scouten; and her children and stepchildren, Charles (Cathy) Scouten, Joyce Futch, Michelle (Greg) Putnam, Bernard (Karen) Jurs, Eric (Krista) Jurs, Joe (Nicole) Scouten, Ed (Colleen Cregg) Scouten, Shea Hill, Christopher (Becky) Scouten, and Beth (Kyle) Webb; and she was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Sat., Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at The Cabaret at Studio B, 28B W. Bank St., Albion, followed by a gathering of friends and family from 2:30 to 5 p.m.

Raymond E. Callard
Raymond E. Callard, 93, of Medina, entered into rest peacefully on Sat., Sept. 7, 2019.
Born Aug. 29, 1926 in Waterport, Ray was a son of the late Earl and Lillian (Warn) Callard. He graduated from Albion High School, class of 1944. A World War II veteran, Ray served in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre from 1944 to 1946. Soon after being discharged, he met the love of his life, Geraldine “Gerry” Stehler, and they were married April 5, 1947. While raising his family, he served as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop #34. During his lifetime, he was employed in many places in the area, including Iroquois Job Corps, where he was in charge of the sign shop, and Albion Correctional Facility, teaching carpentry and sign making. He also owned and operated his own business, The Rustic Sign. Ray had many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, wood carving, making turkey calls, photography, fur tanning and hat making (raccoon, opossum and skunk). He also enjoyed making homemade wine and operating his backhoe and triple-nickel bulldozer. In his downtime, he liked listening to classical music. One of Ray’s favorite places to go with his family was his cabin and property in Canisteo, where they enjoyed many great times. One of his earned nicknames was “the skunk-whisperer,” for his ability to calm live skunks and handle them safely. Ray had a positive attitude and was a positive influence on many who came to know him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ray is survived by his wife of 72 years, Gerry Callard; son, Gary (DeeDee) Callard; daughters, Peggy (John) Foss and Lori (Ronald) Ettinger; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Richard Callard; granddaughter, Sarah Callard; brother, Chesbro Callard; and two sisters, Madelyn Roberts and Virginia West.

Dan Acchione
Dan Acchione, 94, of Greece, passed away suddenly on Sept. 6, 2019.
Dan was born in 1925 in Albion, a son of the late Dan and Sylvia (Monacelli) Acchione. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was awarded the Bronze Star medal for heroic achievement in connection with operations against Japanese forces as a company radio operator on Okinawa Shima Ryukyus Islands in 1945. He also received a Purple Heart, having been wounded in action on June 10, 1945. Dan was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Rochester and the American Legion.
Dan was predeceased by several half brothers and sisters; and by his wife, Sue, in 1998.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carm; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Dan’s Mass will be held Wed., Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Road, Rochester. Entombment will follow with military honors at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.

Walter J Schutt Jr.
Walter J. Schutt Jr., 89, of Chandler, Ariz. and formerly of Albion, died on Aug. 29, 2019.
After high school, Walter joined and served with the United States Air Force. His career path led him to law enforcement, working for the Erie County Sheriff’s Department and the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, and as Chief of Police for the Village of Albion. He was a Mason, and he belonged to the VFW and the American Legion. After retirement, he moved to Sun City, Ariz., where he was an avid gun collector who spent many days with his buddies at the gun range. He loved to read and debate politics, and he had a love for animals. Those who knew him will forever remember his deep voice and his big bear paw sized hands. He loved to give advice and was always willing to share his life’s experiences.
He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Donald Schutt; sister, Marion Lenz; wife, Elsie; and a very special and loving partner, Marguerite Moore.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (Philip) Gang and Kathie (Phil) Zirretta; his sons, Walter “Jay” (Maria) Schutt and Allen (Kimberly) Schutt; his sister, Janice Braman; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a lot of special people (too many to name) who he loved very much.
There are no calling hours, and private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.

Ellen G. Tuohey
Ellen G. Tuohey, 85, of Lyndonville, went home to be with the Lord on Tue., Sept. 3, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital.
Born on Sept. 22, 1933 in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harold W. and Rufina F. (Gest) Genet.
Ellen graduated from North Tonawanda High School. She served as a certified dental assistant, and as a secretary for the Honorable Ruth Vogel of Tonawanda, N.Y. and the Honorable Donald McFadyen of Pompano, Fla.
She moved to Orleans County and was employed at the NYS Department of Corrections as a dental assistant for a number of years. Ellen attended Canisius College and SUNY Brockport, and she graduated from the University of Nevada National Judicial College.
On Aug. 14, 1976, Ellen married Richard E. Tuohey, who predeceased her on April 5, 2009. They made their home in the Lyndonville area for 34 years. Ellen was elected Yates Town Justice and was the first woman to serve in a judicial position in the history of Orleans County. She then became a fierce supporter of crime victims and, along with retired Judge (then District Attorney) James P. Punch, organized the Crime Victims Unit of Orleans County. She served as the Crime Victims Coordinator for the next 18 years. Ellen was a participant in the National Association for Crime Victims, WNY Crime Victims Coalition, and served on their executive board for many years. She was also a member of the American Bar Association and the National Notary Association. Ellen was awarded the prestigious NYS Senate Woman of Distinction honor by Senator George Maziarz, for her years of unusual and dedicated service to victims. She was also the first recipient of the Orleans County Milford L. Phinney Victim Service Award.
She was an active member of Lyndonville United Methodist Church for many years. She served on several church committees while also enjoying singing in the choir. Ellen served in various Town of Yates positions and most recently was elected as a trustee to the Village of Lyndonville Board.
Ellen is survived by her daughter, Victoria L. (Stephen Mascoli) Adams of California; one grandson, Matthew T. Adams, also of California; several extended family members; and very dear local friends.
Besides her husband, she is predeceased by one brother, Bruce W. Genet.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Margaret Mary Parker
Margaret Mary “Susie” Parker died at home in Pensacola, Fla. on May 30, 2018 at the age of 73. She was raised on Gillette Road in the Town of Barre and graduated from Albion High School, class of 1962. Susie graduated from Rosary Hill College in Buffalo (now called Daemen College), then relocated to Chicago, Ill., where she resided for most of her adult life. During her years in Chicago, Susie was employed at Manpower Employment Services, and she also worked for the Internal Revenue Service.
For the last several years of her life, Susie resided at the family home in Pensacola.
Susie was predeceased by her parents, Gerald H. Parker and Florence Metz Parker; her brother, William C. Parker; and her cousin, Lyle G. Parker.
She is survived by her aunt, Mary Jane Francis Parker of Ithaca, N.Y.; her cousins, David (Ruth) Parker of Auburn, N.Y., Debra (Albert) Parker Traunstein of Ithaca, Gordon (Connie) Gillette of Corning, N.Y., and Darla Gillette Thompson of Venice, Fla.; and several other extended family members.
Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery, Albion, on Fri., Sept. 27.
