Oakfield-Alabama tops Lyndonville

Pulling away in the third quarter, undefeated (11-0) Oakfield-Alabama went on to down host Lyndonville 79-50 in a Genesee Region League game this evening.
Lyndonville pulled to within 10, 37-27, after a three point play by Noah Poler to open the third quarter.
However, Oakfield-Alabama answered back with decisive 19-2 scoring surge to break the contest wide open. Kameron Cusmano scored 10 to lead that uprising as the Hornets opened up a 21 point, 56-37, lead heading into the final period.
Kameron Cusmano finished with 17, Kaden Cusmano and Gaige Armbrewster 15 each, and Kyle Porter and Aiden Warner 7 each to pace the Hornets.
Poler finished with a game high 21 and Trenton Muck 11 to lead the Tigers.
The Hornets jumped out to a 15-7 first quarter lead and upped the advantge a big to 13, 37-24, at the half.
Kaden Cusmano scored 7, Armbrewster 6 and Porter 5 in the second period for the Hornets while Muck hit two threes and Mason Nicholson one for the Tigers.
