Notre Dame swimmers top Albion

Taking first place in 16 of 22 events, Notre Dame swept to a doubleheader victory over host Albion this evening in a non league swim meet.

Notre Dame won the boys meet 50-33 and the girls competition 39-33.

Bailey Maier won the 50 freestyle and Morgan Seielstad the 500 free for the Albion boys. Maier and Seielstad also teamed up with Dan Beam and Tim Blue to win the 200 medley relay.

Elizabeh Furmanski took the 200 individual medley and Brooke Wilson the 100 free for the Albion girls. Furmanski and Wilson also combined with Olivia Neidert and Clara Stilwell to win the 400 freestyle relay.

Albion next visits Roy-Hart Tuesday in the Niagara-Orleans League season opener.
