Not much snow in the forecast this week

Orleans County will get a break from snow for most of this week, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

Today the high temperature will be near 50 with some showers before 4 p.m.

There is potential for snow squalls with locally heavy snow and gusty winds Monday afternoon into Monday evening. The temperature will drop from a daytime high of 33 to an overnight low of 13, the Weather Service said.

Tuesday there is a chance for snow showers before 1 p.m. It will be mostly sunny with a high near 30.

The forecast for the rest of the week include sunny with a high near 44 on Wednesday, mostly dunny with a high near 38 on Thursday, mostly sunny with a high near 31 on Friday and mostly sunny with a high near 29 on Saturday.
