The statue of Mary in back is actually a memorial for Orleans County residents who died in World War II.

As we head into the second week of December, it looks like significant snowfall won’t hit the region just yet.

The high temperatures for the week in Orleans County include mostly cloudy and 32 today, followed by mostly sunny and 33 on Tuesday. Less than a half inch of snow could fall Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

Wednesday there is a chance for rain and high near 40, followed by partly sunny and a high of 42 on Thursday.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 44, followed by a mostly cloudy Saturday with a high near 48.
