Foul trouble proved costly as Kendall dropped a 53-38 decision to North Rose-Wolcott this afternoon in a Martin Luther King Jr. Day Classic game at Monroe Community College.

Will Condo scored 22 and Justin Barrett 9 for Kendall whose season long scoring leader, Mookie Nauden, was hampered by foul trouble and limited to only 4 points.

Garrett Hoyt and Jake Stevenson both scored 15 for North Rose-Wolcott which improves to 9-2.

Kendall did grab a 10-9 lead after one period but North Rose-Wolcott answered with a 17-9 second quarter scoring surge to take a 26-19 lead at the half.

The Cougars maintained a 37-31 advantage at the three-quarter mark and then outscored the Eagles 16-7 in the final stanza to put a lock on the victory.

Now at 6-4 overall, Kendall next hosts Notre Dame at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a Genesee Region League game.
