After a year’s absence girls varsity soccer returned to Lyndonville High this fall as the Lady Tigers fielded a merged team with Medina competing in the Genesee Region League and the Section V playoffs.

That was the reversal of roles from 2017 when Lyndonville players were members of a merged team hosted by Medina playing in the Niagara-Orleans League and competing in the Section VI playoffs.

The Lady Tigers nearly finished the season with a huge upset as they dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to top seeded Hornell in the sectionals playoffs.
