No. 17 Medina now a tri school football team
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – This fall running back William Braswell and his Mustang teammates were members of the now Medina tri-school football team which now includes players from both Lyndonville and Barker.
After competing for six years as a merged team with players from Lyndonville, Medina High became a tri-school football squad this fall with the addition of players from Barker.
The Barker players were seeking a place to continue to play after Roy-Hart ended its seven year long football merger with Barker at the end of the 2017 season.
The three school setup put Medina in the Section VI Class B2 Division along with rival Albion, Depew, Lackawanna, Springville and Olean.
