Niagara Orleans celebrates Legion playoff title
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Completing a 5-0 run through the post season, Niagara Orleans downed Jurek Post 5-1 Sunday to capture the Buffalo District American Legion playoff championship. Niagara Orleans advanced to the finals by defeating Orchard Park 16-2 and Jurek 7-0 in the round robin competition on Saturday. Niagara Orleans, which went 9-2 during the regular season (losing only to Jurek and Hamburg) finish with 16-4 overall record. In front are Jackson Strong, Zach Brydges, Andrew Stillinger, Josh Millesville and Kyle Finn.
