Niagara Falls man facing multiple drug charges in Medina
MEDINA – A Niagara Falls man was arrested today with 5 counts of felony drug charges for allegedly selling THC oil (Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol), which is used in the process of making marijuana edibles such as gummies and chocolate candies, the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force said.
The Task Force and the Medina Police Department stopped Tyrell T. Lynch, 31, in a vehicle at the corner of South Main Street and North Avenue in the Village of Medina. Officers seized 32 ounces of THC oil, more than $500 in cash and other drug paraphernalia, the Task Force said.
Lynch was charged with 2 counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, and 3 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, which are all Class D felonies.
Lynch was arraigned in the Shelby Town Court by Town Justice Dawn Keppler. He was committed to the Orleans County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond. He is to appear in Ridgeway Town Court at 9 a.m. on April 15.
Further arrests and charges are pending in this investigation, the Task Force said.
