Niagara County issues travel ban due to flooding

LOCKPORT – Niagara County has issued a state of emergency and travel ban due to flooding. Niagara County officials are saying emergency travel only.

The state of emergency and travel ban have been declared by chairman of the County Legislature Rebecca Wydysh, Director of Emergency Management Jonathon Schultz and Sheriff Michael Filicetti.

A flash flood warning remains in effect until 10:15 p.m.
