Newfane swimmers sweep Albion
Newfane scored a sweep over host Albion in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet this evening.
Newfane won the boys’ meet 55-37 and the girls’ competition 60-33.
Dmitri Young doubled in the 200 Free and 100 Butterfly and Noah Kneeland in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Free for the Newfane boys. as Patrick Bailey took the 500 Free and Dylan Lamont the 100 Backstroke.
Justin Kania won the 50 Free and Matthew Kania the 100 Breaststroke for the Albion boys.
Kimberly Schmitt won the IM, Eliana Reis the 500 Free and Lauren Enderton the Backstroke for the Newfane girls.
Keira Sidari doubled in the 200 Free and Butterfly and Willow Gaines in the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke for Albion as Anna Grillo took the 100 Free.
Both Newfane teams are now 2-0 and Albion 0-2.
