Newfane spikers post win over Medina

A pair of overtime set wins highlighted the action as Newfane outlasted host Medina 25-16, 18-25, 26-24, 30-28 this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League volleyball match.
In the other N-O matches, Wilson (2-0) defeated Roy-Hart (1-1) 25-12, 25-15, 25-11 and defending champion Akron (2-0) downed Albion (0-2) 25-11, 25-14, 25-18.
Devin Griffin had 11 spiking kills, Elle Gross 7 and Ayzha Pitts 4 for Medina. Gross also had 5 service aces as Anya bloom and Evie Schultz each had 3.
Newfane is now 1-1 and Medina 0-2.
