Newfane posts links win over Albion
Improving to 5-3, Newfane defeated Albion 242-268 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match.
Aiden Herlan took medalist honors with a 44 and Connor Duncan carded a 47 to lead Newfane.
The loss drops Albion to 2-7.
In one other N-O match, Wilson remained undefeated at 8-0 by downing Barker (4-3) 221-242.
Wilson’s Jonah Miller and Barker’s Brad Wilson both shot 41 to share medalist honors.
Brandon Seider added a 43 and Connor Seeley a 44 for Wilson which next hosts runner-up Medina (7-1) in a key match on Wednesday.
