Newfane girls down Medina/Lyndonville
A quick two goal scoring burst in the second half keyed Newfane to a 5-3 victory over Medina/Lyndonville in a Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer game this afternoon at Lyndonville.
Kayleigh Daniels scored 3 goals and Emily Foltz 2 for Newfane which snapped a 2-2 tie in the second half with that key scoring burst.
Destiny Satkowski scored Medina’s 3 goals off assists from Anna Lewis, Olivia Carter and Ashlee Howell.
Satkowski now holds school career records for most points (156) and goals (71).
Newfane is now 2-0-1 and Medina/Lyndonville 2-2 in N-O action.
