Newfane duo makes college decisions

Contributed Photo – Newfane High senior Kim Goerss has signed a Letter of Intent to continue her education and her running career at Edinboro College. She is shown her at the signing with her mother, Amy Reynolds and father, Tom Goerss. In back are Newfane Athletic Director Doug Ames, coaches Henry Kursten and Mike Heitzenriter and Principal Dan Bedette. This fall she captured the Niagara-Orleans League cross-country title for the fourth straight year and last spring she won both the 800 and 1500 at the N-O All-League track meet.

She earned first team N-O All-League honors this fall.
