New Year starts in deep freeze

This morning it’s only 0 degrees at about 9 a.m. It will “warm up” to 13 degrees at 1 p.m.

Tuesday is forecast for a high of 19 and low of 12, followed by a high of 22 and low of 7 on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

Thursday will reach a high of 11 and a low of minus-6. Friday will be brutal with a high of minus-1 and a low of minus-7, according to the Weather Service.
