New week starts with downpour in Orleans

The week started with heavy rain this morning in Orleans County. The rain should taper off by noon and today’s high temperature is forecast for 74, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
The highs for the rest of the week in Orleans include sunny and 65 on Monday, sunny and 69 on Tuesday, sunny and 78 on Wednesday, partly sunny and 73 on Thursday, sunny and 65 on Friday and mostly sunny and 67 on Saturday.
This trail cuts through the woods at Hamlin Beach State Park.
