New locations for Lyndonville, Kendall and Holley Section V playoff games

Due to the soggy weather, all four Section V  playoff games involving Lyndonville, Kendall and Holley scheduled for today now have new locations on turf fields and in one case a new date.

The No. 1 seed Lyndonville softball team will now face No. 16 Hinsdale in a Section V Class D game at 7 this evening at Medina’s Vets Park. The contest was originally scheduled to be played at Lyndonville at 5:15 p.m.

The No. 15 seed Lyndonville baseball team will now face No. 2 Keshequa in a Class D game at 12 p.m. Saturday at Livonia. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Keshequa at 4:30 this afternoon.

The No. 5 seed Kendall softball team will now face No. 12 York in a Class C2 game at 5 this afternoon at Greece Odyssey. The game was originally scheduled to be played at 5 p.m. at Kendall.

The No. 14 seed Holley softball team will now face No. 3 Geneseo in a Class C1 game at 5 this afternoon at Livonia. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Geneseo at 5 p.m.

There are also three changes for sectional games scheduled for Saturday.

The top seeded Kendall baseball team will now open Section V Class C2 playoff action at Barker at 11 a.m. Saturday against the winner of tonight’s game between No. 8 Perry and No. 9 Dundee/Bradford.  The game was originally scheduled to be played at Kendall.

The Section VI Class B baseball game between No. 14 Wilson and No. 3 Akron will now be played on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Barker. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Akron on Saturday.

The Section VI Class B baseball game between No. 9 seed Roy-Hart and No. 8  East Aurora will now by played at 4 p.m. Saturday at Cheektowaga’s turf complex. The game was originally scheduled to be played at East Aurora on Saturday.
