NCCC sweeps softball doubleheader
Getting back onto the winning track, the Niagara County Community College softball team swept a doubleheader from visiting Tompkins-Cortland Community College this afternoon by scores of 8-0 and 17-2.
Medina High graduate Olivia Hermann had two hits and an RBI for NCCC in the opener as Newfane grad Jordan Beutel had two hits and scored three times.
In the second game, Newfane grad Morgan Bedford went 4 for 4 with two doubles and 6 RBIs.
NCCC is now 5-5 in the conference and 7-11 overall.
