NCCC cagers sweep past Mercyhurst NE
Staying perfect at 24-0, the Niagara County Community College women’s basketball team rolled to a 90-63 victory over Mercyhurst NE this evening.
Leading the way for the Thunderwolves were Kenetria Redfern (Cheektowaga) with 23 points, 15 rebounds; Paige Emborsky (Newfane) 22 points, 6 rebounds; Shilah Parker (Cardinal O’Hara) 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists; Molly Mahony (Lancaster) 16 points, 7 rebounds and Ellie Todd (Roy-Hart) 4 points.
In the men’s game, NCCC defeated Mercyhurst NE 98-68. Nate Luckman (Barker) led the Thunderwolves with 18 points.
