NCCC cagers earn 20th victory
Moyer, DeWaters help set the pace
Forcing 35 turnovers, the Niagara County Community College women’s basketball team romped to a 85-55 win over Erie Community College Thursday to improve to 20-5 on the season.
Albion graduate Tanisha Moyer had 12 points and 6 rebounds and Roy-Hart grad Jesse DeWaters 10 points, 13 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists to help lead NCCC which is 3-3 in the conference.
Merrick Rowland with 21 was the leading scorer for NCCC which broke the contest open with an 18-0 run early in the second half.
