NCCC bows in regular season finale
In a regular season ending matchup of highly nationally ranked teams, No. 2 Monroe Community College defeated visiting No. 12 Niagara County Community College 98-52 this afternoon in women’s basketball action.
Medina High graduate Alba Perez had 13 points and 9 rebounds for NCCC which finishes the regular season at 8-2 in the league and 27-3 overall.
Next up for the teams will be the Region III Final Four at Monroe next Saturday and Sunday.
