Niagara Nationals romp past Lancaster
The Niagara Nationals erupted for 7 runs in the third inning and 9 runs in the fourth inning to rout the Lancaster Legends by a score of 19-4 Friday.
Leading the way offensively were Mitchell Holtz (Akron) 4-4 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored, Hunter Briggs (Starpoint) 3-4 with 2 runs scored, Joe Dell’Oso (Starpoint) 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and Trevor Luthart (Medina) 2-3 with 2 runs scored.
Dell’Oso picked up the win on the mound scattering 5 hits, striking out 2 in throwing a complete game.
