Nationals rally to tie in tourney opener

A last ditch rally earned the Niagara Nationals a 4-4 tie with Easley Baseball team from Memphis, Tenn. Friday in the opening round of the PG WWBA National Championships being held at over 50 sites in Georgia.

Trailing 4-1, the Nationals scored 3 times in the bottom of the seventh on 2 errors, a wild pitch, a walk and a single by Korey Canton.

The Nationals had only 2 hits on the day, the other coming on a first inning single by Liam Ward when they scored their other run.

The tournament continues today.
