A sharp no hit pitching performance keyed the Niagara Nationals to an 8-0 victory over the Renegades in a Boys of Summer League game this evening at Attica.

Aiden Johnston pitched the first six and two thirds innings allowing no hits and striking out 8.  Mitchell Holtz completed the no hitter by coming on to get the final 2 outs.

Trevor Luthart had 2 hits for the Nationals as Johnston, Joe Dell’oso and David Belsito each drove in a pair of runs.

The Nationals scored twice in the first and fifth innings and then locked up the win with 3 more in the sixth as Sam Murphy and Holtz both had hits.
