R-H/Barker/Medina icers have close road loss

Traveling to SUNY Fredonia on Super Bowl Sunday, the Roy-Hart/Barker/ Medina club hockey team lost 4-2 to Dunkirk/Fredonia in a Western New York Club Hockey League game..

After taking a 1-0 lead early in the game on a goal by Michael Kuchey, assisted by Dylan Krzykowski, Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina saw Dunkirk/Fredonia tie the game late in the opening period.

RBM again took the lead at 2-1 in the second period on a goal by Drew Marsh with assists from Dominic Peracciny and Krzykowski.

However, Dunkirk/Fredonia took full control of the game, scoring the last two goals in the final period.

Now 7- 10, RBM will close out the regular season Saturday against Wilson- Newfane at 5:15 p.m. at the Cornerstone Arena in Lockport.
