Narrow loss snaps Dynamites win streak
The Dynamites had a 4 game winning streak snapped by a narrow 1-0 margin under the lights at Orchard Park Wednesday.
The Dynamites out hit Orchard Park 3-1 but left runners stranded at third base three times in the matchup of two usually high scoring teams.
Xander Payne and Ryan Mettler combined to hurl the 1 hitter for the Dynamites. Mettler, Iverson Poole and Javon Jones had the team’s only hits.
The Dynamites travel to Elma on Saturday for a league game against the EMW Tribe. Sunday, the Clarence Sunday league playoffs start with opponents yet to be decided.
