Narrow G-R girls soccer losses for Kendall, Holley and Lyndonville/Medina
A goal in the final three minutes provided the only scoring as host Byron-Bergen nipped Kendall 1-0 this evening in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.
Kailie Regan made 10 saves in goal for Kendall in the Lady Eagles season opener.
Kendall next hosts rival Holley at noon Saturday.
In other G-R contests, Lyndonville/Medina dropped a 3-1 decision to host Oakfield-Alabama/Elba and Holley was nipped 2-1 by host Wheatland-Chili.
Ella Lewis scored the goal for Lyndonville/Medina which was tied with Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 1-1 at the half.
Sam Bates scored for Holley, which was likewise tied with W-C 1-1 at the half. Kayleigh Neale earned the assist.
Lyndonville/Medina and Holley are now both 1-1.
