N-O vs. G-R Challenge this weekend
The Niagara-Orleans League vs. Genesee Region League Basketball Challenge will take place this weekend with the boys games at Genesee Community College and the girls contests at Niagara County Community College.
The boys competition will begin on Friday with a doubleheader matching Roy-Hart vs. Oakfield-Alabama at 6:30 p.m. and Akron vs. Notre Dame at 8 p.m.
Saturday’s lineup will have Albion vs. Elba at 12 p.m., Wilson vs. Alexander at 1:30 p.m., Barker vs. Pembroke at 3 p.m., Medina vs. Wheatland-Chili at 6 p.m. and Newfane vs. Attica at 7:30 p.m.
Because the G-R has more teams than the N-O Saturday’s slate will also have two other contests with Holley vs. Lyndonville at 10:30 a.m. and Byron-Bergen vs. Avoca-Prattsburg at 4:30 p.m.
The girls lineup on Saturday at NCCC will have Barker vs. Holley at 10 a.m., Akron vs. Alexander at 11:30 a.m., Medina vs. Pembroke at 1 p.m., Wilson vs. Elba at 2:30 p.m.. Roy-Hart vs. Byron-Bergen at 4 p.m., Albion vs. Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. and Newfane vs. Oakfield-Alabama at 7 p.m.
