N-O trio helps NCCC get off to a 17-0 start

Photo by Cheryl Wertman – A trio of former Niagara-Orleans League players have helped the Niagara County Community College women’s basketball team compile a 17-0 record to date. Thunderwolves Coach Nate Beutel is shown here with that N-O trio, which includes from left, Caitlynn Snook (Albion), Ellie Todd (Roy-Hart) and Paige Emborsky (Newfane). Emborsky, who is averagng over 17 points per outing, scored a game high 16 points to lead NCCC to a 74-61 win over Lakeland, Ohio Community College on Saturday. That win was also a special one for Beutel who earned his milestone 150th career victory at the Thunderwolves helm. Now in his seventh season, he has an overall record of 150-50.
