N-O teams bow in sectional volleyball semis
Both Niagara-Orleans League entrants were defeated in the semifinal round of the Section VI Class C1 volleyball playoffs Tuesday evening.
No. 2 seed N-O champion Akron was ousted by No. 3 Southwestern in four sets 25-12, 18-25, 25-17, 25-10.
No. 5 Newfane was eliminated by No. 1 Eden 25-15, 25-7, 25-14.
Eden and Southwestern will now meet for the C1 title.
