N-O swimmers fare well at sectionals
Barker High sophomore Collin Webb placed 6th in the 100 Freestyle in a time of :49.94 and 7th in the 50 Free in :22.56 at this past week’s Section VI swim championships.
Webb also teamed up with sophomore Andrew Jenks, junior Collin Stevener and senior Ian Goodlander to place 10th out of 29 teams in the 200 Free Relay with a school record time of 1:32.85.That foursome also placed 16th out of 36 teams in the 200 Medley Relay.
Barker finished 18th out of 33 schools in the final team standings.
Newfane junior Andrew Hamelink placed 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke.
