N-O players earn All-WNY basketball honors

Wilson senior Rachel Senek has been named to the third team and Medina junior Jalin Cooper to the fourth team of the annual All-Western New York basketball squads.
Senek, who helped lead Wilson to a repeat Naigara-Orleans League championship, scored 317 points (14.4 average) and had 135 rebounds, 110 assists and 98 steals.
Cooper, who likewise helped lead Medina to an N-O championship, scored a school record tying 458 points (20.8 ave.) and had 207 rebounds, 66 steals and 58 assists.
Several honor N-O players also received honorable mention including Nate Luckman (Barker), Max Weber (Newfane), Chanyce Powell (Albion), Je’ne Brown (Medina), Paige Emborsky (Newfane) and Kayla Neumann (Wilson).
