N-O honors boys All-League cagers

Five schools are represented on the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League boys basketball squad.

Senior Kyle Bradley, a repeat selection, represents champion Wilson.

The first team quintet also includes Medina senior Jason Hellwig, Roy-Hart junior Andy Xapsos, CSAT senior Dylanta Carson and Akron junior Gates Abrams.

Bradley scored a league leading 414 points (20.7 ave.) to help lead Wilson to a 13-1 N-O title campaign.

Hellwig led Medina with 229 points (16.1 ave.), 220 rebounds, 109 assists and 46 steals.

Xapsos averaged 17.9 for Roy-Hart, Abrams 16.5 for Akron and Carson 14.8 for CSAT.

Likewise, five schools are also represented on the second team which includes Albion senior Clayton Stanton, Medina junior Justin Morgan, Wilson senior Evan Shank, Barker senior Christopher Sweeney and Newfane senior Kyle Burdick.

Stanton averaged 10.2 points and 8.9 rebounds, Morgan 10.9 points, Shank 11.1 points, Sweeney 10.3 points and 10 rebounds and Burdick 12.6 points.
