N-O honors All-League softball team
Three players each from champion Akron and runner-up Barker head the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League softball squad.
Akron is represented by senior pitcher Mary Diggs, senior infielder Elsie Logan and junior catcher Ashlee Henning. Diggs also earned the N-O Player of the Year award.
Barker has placed senior infielder Mia Herman, junior utility player Natalie Brandel and freshman pitcher Peyton Bradley.
Rounding out the first team are Medina junior infielder Iyla Lilleby, Albion sophomore catcher Cami London, Roy-Hart sophomore infielder Kaitlin Mettler and Newfane sophomore outfielder Kyra Austin along with the Wilson duo of junior infielder Rian Faery and freshman outfielder/catcher Abbie Faery.
Logan, Bradley, Rian Faery and Mettler are all repeat selections.
