N-O honors All-League netters

Champion Medina has placed two players on the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League tennis squad.

Medina, which went 12-0 to claim a third straight N-O title, is represented on the first team by senior Ben Howell and freshman Kristian Snyder, who went undefeated at first and second singles respectively. Howell is a three-time first team honoree.

Wilson, which finished in the runner-up spot at 9-3, has placed seniors Isaiah Barrett and Nate Johnson and junior Dominic Curcione.

Rounding out the first team are Albion senior Andrew Burroughs along with the Barker junior duo of Sean Benoit and Tristan Payne and Akron’s Jacob Borth.

Barrett, Johnson and Benoit are all repeat selections.

Medina has placed three players on the second team including senior Nate Pace, who played third singles most of the season, along junior Brian Bogan and sophomore Tristan Sanders who comprised the Mustangs first doubles team.

Albion is represented on the second team by junior Dyer Benjovsky and sophomore Josh Metzler, Roy-Hart by senior Adam Clause, Barker by junior Brian Hefferon, Akron by Ryan Meek and Newfane by Andy Swift.
