N-O honors All-League girls soccer team

Champion Akron has placed four players on the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League girls soccer squad including junior midfielders Kara Sequin and Maddie Henning, senior midfielder Julia George and senior defender Morgan Wdowka.

Sequin, a three time first team honoree, scored 32 goals this season and had 9 assists. George had 3 goals and 3 assists, Henning 2 goals and 1 assist and Wdowka 2 assists.

Roy-Hart’s first team All-League trio includes Nadia White, Clare Jones and Kara Choate.

Roy-Hart is represented on the first team by the underclassmen trio of junior defender Clara Jones, sophomore midfielder Kara Choate and freshman forward Nadia White.

Choate scored 24 goals and added 6 assists while White had 3 goals and 6 assists.

Albion has placed the duo of senior forward Claire Squicciarini and sophomore forward Abby Scanlan on the first team.

Scanlan had 18 goals and 4 assists and Squicciarini 8 goals and 7 assists.

Wilson is represented by senior forward Skylar Munnikhuysen and sophomore sweeper Kaelin Faery.

Munnikhuysen, a three-time first team selection, scored 17 goals and added 14 assists.

Rounding out the first team is Newfane freshmen midfielder Rachel Chunco who had 6 goals and 3 assists.

Akron is represented on the second team by the senior trio of goalie Megan Sheehan and defenders Mindy Doktor and Caeley Harsh.

Albion also has three second team honorees including senior midfielder Paige Derisley, sophomore defender Aly Knaak and sophomore midfielder Leah Pritchard.

Wilson likewise has a trio of selections including junior midfielder Lilly O’Lay, junior defender Kassidy Sidote and eighth grade forward Leia Cloy.

Rounding out the second team are Barker junior goalie Sydnie Luckman and Roy-Hart junior midfielder Ceci Santos along with Newfane junior forward Taylor Heschke and sophomore forward Angelins DiTullio.

Rounding out the first team are Newfane’s Rachel Chunco along with the Wilson duo of Skylar Munnikhuysen and Kaelin Faery.
