N-O has All-WNY field hockey honorees

A total of nine Niagara-Orleans League players have earned spots on the annual All Western New York field hockey squad.
Leading the local contingent is Barker senior forward Katrina Clare who is a repeat first team selection.
A three-time first team N-O All-League honoree and two-time N-O Player of the Year, Clare scored 18 goals and had 21 assists this past season as she helped lead the Lady Raiders to league, Section VI and Far West Regional titles.

A quartet of N-O players earned second team honors including Barker forward Ciara Gregoire, Medina forward Lacey Kenward, Roy-Hart midfielder Sam Choate and Wilson defender Emilee Muoio, all seniors.
Gregoire had 17 goals and 2 assists .
Kenward led Medina with 14 goals and 4 assists.
Choate had 5 goals and 7 assists and Muoio 7 goals and 5 assists.
Four N-O players also received Honorable Mention including Medina senior Mary Flores, Barker juniors Lena Fazzolari and Madison Gancasz and Akron sophomore Emerson Polkowski.
Flores had 5 goals and 5 assists, Gancasz 5 goals and 6 assists and Fazzolari 1 goal and 5 assists.
